Chambers C lowback "Julia", early, white, 38"

$3,200.00

Classic. Capable. Dang fun to cook on. What better describes the Chambers model C? This early one was made 1950-’53. Very nice enamel panels, chrome cooktop and control levers. The oven and timer dials (beautiful, durable cloisonné) are in excellent shape , as is the badge on the backsplash.

If you are love cooking, you will LOVE doing so on a Chambers. The griddle and flip-up broiler are always at your fingertips. The 3 cooktop burners are quick to heat and easy to finesse. The ThermoWell functions as both a slow cooker (for broth, soup and stew), AND, with the optional ThermoBaker, as a mini-oven, for every thing from roasts to baked potatoes to pies.

There’s no denying “Julia’s” incredibly disgusting, filthy interior compartments. What can we say? Whoever last owned her cared more about cooking than cleaning. For an extra $650, we can make all that crud go away (will not remove rust).

“Julia’s” oven is match-lit. If you prefer, we can convert it to an auto-lighting safety system for $950. Precise width is 37 5/8”.
